I love the bird, the colors of it are absolutely beautiful, also the crop/angle you decided to use suits it very well.
Vision: birds are always beautiful, they're a delicate, graceful and harmonious creature that you can find some variation across the world... to me, bird are amazing.

That aside, I looked at the original. I like how vibrant the photo is, but seems a little over saturated. The amount of contrast/saturation (as I'm unsure which method you use) darkens this photo a lot. In the original the blue was much more bright and with this it's turned it black in spots. Maybe if you just brightened it up without adjusting the saturation, it may bring back some of the blue without washing out the yellow and green.

Vision: Like I said, I really like the crop and angle you used. You caught him at a wonderful moment.

Originality: Birds aren't that original, based on the fact they are global, but that doesn't matter too much as they are widely appreciated, and beautiful.

Technique: I pretty much covered this above, but what I do like about this one is when you look at the difference between the original and edited, this looks much sharper and the lines are more defined. I love the feet, they are so cute. So, that would be another thing to consider if you choose to lighten it up a bit and try getting the blue back.

Impact: This photo is beautiful. The colors are vibrant, and of course blue and yellow mix so beautifully together it's gorgeous. I like the natural tones that are used as well, it makes the photo more comfortable. There aren't really any "manufactured" colors. Earth tones with nature seem to always work well.

Over all, I think this is a beautiful photo of a beautiful bird. Keep up the good work (=
